Novuna Personal Finance £1K #LoveNovuna giveaway

1. THE PROMOTER

The promoter is Novuna Personal Finance, a trading style of Mitsubishi HC Capital UK PLC (“Promoter”, "us" or "our"). This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or is associated with Amazon.

2. THE COMPETITION

The title of the competition is the "Novuna Personal Finance £1K #LoveNovuna giveaway".

2.1 Ten winners will be chosen by the promotor from a pool of entrants who submit their #LoveNovuna story to us using the dedicated form (linked to via the invite email). Each winner will receive a £100 Amazon digital gift card.

3. HOW TO ENTER

3.1 The competition will run from 00:01 on 19 January 2023 (the "Opening Date") to 23:59 on 10 February 2023 (the "Closing Date") inclusive.

3.2 All competition entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified, but may still be used for ongoing promotional purposes and in accordance with our privacy policy.

3.3 To enter the competition, please submit your details using the form (linked to from within your invite email) before the Closing Date.

3.4 The Promoter will not accept:
(a) responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or 
(b) proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.

3.5 By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing:
(a) to be bound by these terms and conditions; and
(b) that the description of your experience, information relating to your use of the loan, your name, surname, county of residence, any images supplied and/or likeness may be used by the Promoter for ongoing promotional purposes.

3.6 The competition is open to all residents of the United Kingdom (“UK”), including the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and the Republic of Ireland, aged 18 years or older except:
(a) employees of the Promoter or their holding or subsidiary companies;
(b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or their holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
(c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
     
3.7 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.

3.8 The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:
(a) automatically generated by computer;
(b) completed by third parties or in bulk; or
(c) incomplete.

3.9 There is a limit of one entry to the competition per individual. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.

3.10 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.

4. THE PRIZE

4.1 Each of the 10 winners that are selected by the Promotor will receive a £100 Amazon e-voucher (the "prize").

4.2 The winners will be contacted to confirm their valid email address prior to a link to the digital voucher code being sent.

4.3 There will be no equivalent prize (whether cash or otherwise).

5. WINNERS ANNOUNCEMENT

5.1 The decision of the Promoter (or the judges nominated by the Promoter) is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

5.2 The Promoter will notify the winners personally within two working days of the Closing Date, using the email address provided with the competition entry.

6. CLAIMING THE PRIZE

6.1 The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winners via email. If the winners cannot be contacted or are not available within two working days of the Closing Date or if the email address provided is incorrect resulting in a failed delivery notification being received by the Promotor, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the entries that were received before the Closing Date.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

8. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY

8.1 If you are selected as one of the 10 winners of the competition, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, image, town or county of residence and the information you supplied to us describing your experience and your use of the loan to announce that you are a winner of the competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.

8.2 In addition to your answer, your full name and email address will be used by the Promoter in accordance with its privacy policy.

8.3 In submitting an entry I:
(a) grant the Promotor exclusive permission to use any image supplied as part of the competition and for ongoing marketing that the Promotor may undertake (“Purpose”) and consent to the Promotor storing copies of the image for the Purpose;
(b) confirm that all people featured in the image have consented to its submission and in submitting the image I confirm I have made all featured people aware that the image will be used for the Purpose;
(c) accept that any image may be edited, copied, modified, exhibited, published or distributed by the Promotor and I waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product;
(d) understand I have the right to withdraw my consent to the Promotor using and/or storing copies of such image at any time. However, I understand that any media already in circulation outside of the Promotor’s control may contain the image. I understand that if I withdraw my consent, the Promotor will not use the image further from the point at which I withdraw my consent; and
(e) understand that if the Promotor wishes to use the image for any other purpose other than for the Purpose I will be contacted and I will be given the opportunity to consent to the image being used for other purposes.

9. GENERAL

9.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.

9.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

9.3 These terms and conditions and any dispute or claim arising in respect of these terms and conditions and/or the competition shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
